Arkansas PBS Filming at the Farm!!!!

Last week we were blessed with a visit from PRODUCER KEVIN CLARK with AETN in Conway. . .He was filming our 1912 and 1930 BARNS. . .and interviewing John and myself inside The Country Farm Home. . .We knew he were coming but we didn't mention it until the shoot actually happened. . .Kevin contacted us a number of weeks ago and set a date. . .a date we had to change because of  both floods and the dust storms happening this Spring. . .John and I weren't sure we'd have the grounds in any kind of shape for a filming. . .but with a few days of sunshine and a determination to make all ready. . .we finished in time. . .

It was a beautiful day for the outdoor photography. . .as you can see. . .We couldn't have asked for a better one. . .and the sunset that Kevin caught on camera Friday evening was so special. . .

Our two barns will be a part of an ARKANSAS BARNS documentary to be aired on AETN in August. . .I'm not sure how many barns will be featured, . . .but I do know there will be several. . .including the HEMMINGWAY BARN in Piggott. . .This is a tremendous honor for us folks in the NORTHEAST ARKANSAS DELTA. . .So many times we are overlooked, even though we have much to offer. . .Kevin grew up just ten miles from our farm. . .Blytheville to be exact. . .It was like family had come home.

I only had the time to grab a few shots. . .but wanted to document the day. . .
